Weston Creek Bowling Club is nestled amongst picturesque gardens and surrounded by leafy trees, parkland and ovals. Our little oasis is part of the Weston Creek Labor Club and is located in Teesdale Close Stirling. We have 2 grass greens plus Canberra’s only synthetic (outdoor carpet) green which is available for bowls all year round and in almost any weather conditions.
 
Members and visitors, both male and female, are always welcome at any of the three weekly social competition matches.
 
The entry fee is $8 (from 1st March 2017) for all matches and is paid at reception. The socal event days are:
 
Tuesdays:- A ladies organised match of three-bowl pairs of 18 ends – teams and positions are determined by a random draw process but positions in a team can be flexible. Games usually start at about 10:30a.m. If you wish to attend turn up at about 10a.m. or a few minutes later, pay your fee/s and contact the organisers with your receipt.
 
Thursdays and Saturdays:- Men’s organised matches of pairs (2-2-2-2 format) of 21 ends. Games start at 12:00p.m. on Thursdays and 12.00p.m. on Saturdays. Enter either as a team or singly by one of two methods:-
1. On any of the six days before the competition enter by personally entering your team or name on the appropriate list in the bowls office. (Note: Labor Club staff cannot do this for you)
OR
2. Between 10a.m. and 11:00a.m. on Thursdays and between 10a.m. and 11.00am on Saturdays, ring the teams or name/s into the Labor Club staff (Telephone No. 02-62885047) and they will make the entries into the list.
 In either case, pay the entry fee/s at reception then taking the receipt/s to the bowls organisers.
