Winners! 2024 Women’s Mid-Week Pennants

Having fought hard each match, our Women’s Grade 3 team have won the Pennant flag in the Bowls ACT mind-week Pennants competition. Winning 7 out of 10 rounds, 2 byes and 1 loss, our girls finished top of the ladder on 55 points. AND, to top it off, 8 of our 12 players will receive an ‘8’ pin, with each side scoring 8 points in different games. Well done ladies!!

Gem of the South Competition, 27 – 28 July 2024

Weston Creek Bowling Club’s inaugural mixed triples ‘Gem of The South’ competition had 34 teams braving the Canberra winter, competing for a share in over $9000 in prize money. 1st place went to team Matt Sargeant, 2nd place to team Jamie Smith and 3rd place to Ivan Peric’s team.

At the Bowls ACT AGM held on 10th April 2024, our local legend, Di Marquet, was elected President of Bowls ACT.
